This is considered to be one of the best possible ways of how we can widen democracy and enhance representation. PR fully respects the ruling of the majority; however it does not exclude the representation of other parties. With a PR system, KSU would be made up of members elected proportionately from various segments amongst students. 

A KSU elected with a PR system would guarantee representation to all students and promote a healthy and a mature political environment where different ideas can be interacted. Student councils in other Universities in Europe and the USA use this type of system to improve discussion on campus in order to reduce apathy and partisan involvement within student politics. It is a system which would re-introduce the importance of responsibility, accountability and respect to the students in the KSU’s performance.
